range of 0°C to 50°C, orbital speeds from 20 to 400 rpm and light levels to 200µE (RP6 Model).

• The Biosyn CP4/8 Chambers offer reliable
and cost-effective operation at temperatures from 5°C to 50°C, and lighting control to 60µE.

• The Biosyn R Models provide temperatures
of 0°C to 50°C and offer enhanced lighting functions and levels to 300µE.

• The Biosyn RHS Models offer temperatures
of 0°C to 50°C, enhanced lighting functions and levels to 300µE plus humidity simulation

to high levels in these larger sizes.

|
The Contherm Biosyn Orbital Incubator is ideally suited to
culturing micro-organisms and cells under strict conditions of temperature, time, light and agitation. The constant
motion allows effective aeration with the wide orbital action reducing buffeting of shear-sensitive cells. With
separate displays for each parameter and an easy-to-use digital control panel, Contherm’s proven PLCS5 microprocessor-based,
EEROM-backed control system offers self-diagnostic alarm displays with automatic high/low limit protection, user-adjustable
firmware, and LED-based readout. The platform will accept standard conical flasks from 25ml. to 2000ml., and the
clips used to retain the flasks screw directly onto the platform. Orbital speeds between 20 and 400 r.p.m. can
be set and controlled using state-of-the-art inverter technology. Accurate temperature control between 0º
C to +60ºC can be attained with the BIOSYN Orbital
|
|
Incubator, with an impeller-driven air system assuring even
circulation and diffusion of conditioned air through specimens. The sealed, energy-efficient refrigeration system
incorporates a unique hot-gas control for continuous operation and automatic defrosting, with all functions under
the control of the microprocessor. Lighting is programmable in four steps to maximum levels in the RP6 model, with
6 x 30W fluorescent lights built into the lid. The Contherm BIOSYN Orbital Incubator features an attractive, corrosion-resistant
finish on steel exterior, and polished stainless steel interior to assure a long service life.

temperature and lighting, the Biosyn Series 6000 CP4 and CP8 models deliver excellent performance to the researcher,
providing Photosynthetically Active Radiation and microprocessor-managed temperature control. Inner doors of toughened
glass allow excellent visual monitoring, and a soft-closing outer door ensures jar-free growth of samples. With
accurate and reliable control from 5°C to 50°C, and a fan-driven air circulation system, optimum and repeatable
performance is assured. The proven Contherm ZP21 microprocessor-based control system with user-adjustable software
and easy-to-set

and read LED digital display is EEROM backed to save set
points during power failures. These models feature self-diagnostic alarm displays and dual hi-limit controls, with

These versatile Phytotron chambers provide Photosynthetically
Active Radiation to medium levels and consistent temperature control, offering enhanced lighting functions for
the 625 models, and 610 and 620 models with the P6 option.All models feature heated glass doors and double glazed
windows each side to allow clear interior viewing, with stainless steel shelves provided. An efficient fan-driven
air system assures uniform circulation and diffusion of air through the interior. Standard is the proven Contherm

humidity and lighting in a larger size, these BIOSYN models deliver the performance for demanding research programmes,
with the larger models offering walk-in convenience. These units provide Photosynthetically Active Radiation to
high levels, with consistent temperature control and an advanced humidity generation system. A corrosion- resistant
finish on structural steel and steel exterior, and marine-grade aluminium with a UV-resistant finish on the interior
surface, assures a long service life. A multi-fan driven air system assures uniform circulation and diffusion of
conditioned air. The proven Contherm PLCS5 microprocessor, EEROM backed control system with user-adjustable software
and LED-based read-out allows programming of day/night temperature, humidity and light levels in real or elapsed
time, and features self diagnostic alarm displays with automatic high/low limit protection, and an RS232C port
allowing PC control. Nine user-configurable programs are available. Humidity control is achieved with a water injection
system, a solid state sensor providing the PLCS5 with control information. A sealed, energy-efficient CFC-free
refrigeration system in all models
|
|
allows continuous operation and automatic defrosting, with
all functions under microprocessor control. The lighting system in all models is housed in a separate air-cooled
light loft which gives an even light distribution and reduced heat build-up. Light intensity is programmable in
8 steps, giving good dawn to dusk simulation. These models deliver maximum flexibility and performance, with higher
capacity, assuring consistent and repeatable results.
